Because Flexim hardens on the outside while staying soft on the inside this means that if an persistent critters try to get in, Flexim will reseal itself. Meaning repeated repairs would not be necessary. For pest control companies a box of Flexim can be easily stored in the shop or van for quick repairs.
Warranty
The Manufacturer warrants FLEXIM roof mortar as a sealing and adhesive material. Liability under this warranty is limited to the price of the product as purchased.
The guarantee applies exclusively where FLEXIM roof mortar is applied as a sealing product for ridge or hip tiles (both ceramic and concrete) when applies in accordance with the installation instructions in the leaflet.

Ridge Installation
Remove the Flexim strip from the packaging.
Press the Flexim onto a clean and dry surface. The width should be at least 2". Make sure the joints are completely filled with Flexim.
Place the ridge tile onto the Flexim and press firmly into place. Ensuring the Flexim is both inside and outside of the ridge-cap, keeping the joints as tight as possible.
Remove the excess Flexim and smooth the material to achieve a uniform appearance.
Use your finger to tidy up the joints.
Hip Installation
Apply the Flexim to a clean dry surface. Width must be 2".
Place the Hip tile onto the Flexim and press firmly into place.
Secure the tiles.
Remove any excess Flexim and smooth to achieve a uniform finish.
Skylight Installation
Remove foam to ensure a good bond.
Press the Flexim onto the surface with a minimum of 2" thickness.
Place the tile onto the Flexim and firmly press into place.
Remove excess Flexim and smooth the area to achieve a uniform appearance.
