Umbelino Canudo Mission Pan & Cover Tile
The CANUDO roof tile, which is inspired by the traditional Portuguese roof tile, is part of the architectural imagination of Portugal. The production process used complies with all quality parameters, based on the most modern technology, along with the best clays and always with the assurance of respect for the environment.
The large variety of shades and finishes, from the natural, Mediterranean to the glazed, enable the architecture to be fully customized, giving each roof covering the identity appropriate to each project.

Looking for an older more rustic look?
A simple way is to increase the number of cover tiles.
When Canudo Mission tiles are installed normally the pans and covers are laid with a 14 ½” exposure. The result is that the butt (bottom edge) of the tiles line up.
Increasing the number of cover tiles by 10% allows the exposures to become inconsistent and the regular horizontal line of the butts goes away.
Increase the number by 20% or even 25% and the roof will take on a whole different appearance, giving the roof the aged rustic look of the old world.
As Canudo Mission is an affordable tile to start with, the extra cost of increasing the number of cover tiles or blending additional colors is far outweighed by the improved appearance of your roof.
