Many of the tiles imported from Europe over the past 40 years were from companies who have now been ‘absorbed’ by much larger conglomerates’ that no longer service the North American market.
Through our agents in Europe we are able to purchase these tiles, repack them to comply with the latest North American importation regulations and ship them directly to your job site.

European Reclaimed Roof Tiles
Rather than having a new roof that looks old you might prefer a new roof that is already old…. If so Northern can help. We can now offer our customers reclaimed clay tiles as well as stone (not slate) from Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany and England. All the tiles originate from northern climates, will be weather - stained and, of course, be in good condition.
*Please note we do not offer used tiles that were originally made in North America as this market is serviced by a number of excellent companies. We would be happy to provide their contact information.

Fittings & Accessories
As a tile roof ages it could have lost the odd rake, or the ridge may have been damaged in a storm. We can now provide your old roof with a little TLC.
From photographs we can identify the original make and style of tile on your roof and the fittings you require. We can either source new pieces from the original tile company or find similar reclaimed pieces.
If all else fails we can have replacements custom made. (By the way the minimum order is one!)
You might also want to consider adding ornamental ridge tiles to ‘spice’ up your roof. These go especially well with slate, natural or man-made, as well as regular asphalt roofs.

I Need to Match a Tile. Now What?
All you need to do is provide us with the basic information, shape, size, color and any other identifying features such as what is stamped on the back of the tile. Photographs emailed to us are always best if that is possible. replacement@northernrooftiles.com
