Aleonard Patrimony Shingle Tile
Today's Patrimony tiles offer you the opportunity to replicate the look of the beautiful cottage roofs seen throughout rural France. The jumble of sizes and colors give that amazing higgledy-piggledy look that has weathered the centuries adding a charm and beauty to those humble dwellings.
30 years ago the Aleonard factory in Pontigny, situated in the Burgundy region of France, re-created that look and today they offer 4 different sized (width, length and thickness) tiles available in 4 traditional weather-stained colors, and they should know, as someone has been making clay roof tiles in this location since the 14th century!
Your opportunity, or some would say challenge, is to blend these sizes and colors to best compliment your external finishes be they stone, brick or plaster rendering. We can guide you and your installer to add those subtle touches which will make your 'new' roof look old…. how old is up to you.
Bring a little of the romance and beauty of the French countryside to your next dream project.
